This gentle giant is by far the most laid back dog I have ever fostered to date; nothing seems to phase him...  He has two attributes that most definitely need to be addressed and that is his deadly intense stare whenever you are eating something in which he believes you should be sharing with him AND his inability to drink out of a water bowl without forming a small river on the floor from the water bowl itself to his next intended resting place :-)  

Uncertain of Magoo's past, I must tell you that I do not believe he had the luxury of air conditioning on a regular and routine basis because it is very difficult to get him to go outside for any given amount of time other than 'doing his business.'  Other than that, he is all about indoor living.  If you are looking for a large dog to exercise, run and/or jog with, Magoo is not the dog for you!  If you are looking for a large dog to hang out with, be a couch potato with and/or just be your bestest of friends then Magoo is the right pick for you...  Whomever has room in their heart and most especially their home for this big boy, will be forever satisfied with the best buddy they are going to obtain when they bring this young man into their lives!!
